About

Hey, I'm Puneet 👋

Front-end developer by trade, tech obsessive by nature.

I've spent years building interfaces — pushing pixels, fixing layout bugs at 1am, arguing with CSS specificity, and watching frameworks rise and fall. Somewhere along the way I realized I wasn't just building products with technology, I was constantly reading about it too. New AI models, weird startup pivots, gadgets nobody asked for but everybody buys, security breaches that make you rethink every password you own.

The Tech Watcher started because I got tired of two things: tech news that's either recycled press releases dressed up as articles, or written by people who've clearly never opened a terminal or shipped a feature under a deadline. I wanted a place that explains what's actually happening — and more importantly, why it matters to you — without the fluff.

What you'll find here

  • AI, decoded. Not hype, not doom — just what's genuinely new and what's marketing.
  • Software & web dev from someone who actually builds interfaces for a living.
  • Gadgets reviewed for whether they're worth your money, not just their spec sheet.
  • Cybersecurity explained without the jargon wall.
  • Startups worth watching, and the honest reasons some are worth skipping.
  • Practical guides you can actually use the same day you read them.

Why "The Tech Watcher"?

Because that's really what I do — I watch this space closely so you don't have to sift through fifty tabs to find the three things that actually matter. I test things myself where I can, dig past the headline, and tell you what I honestly think. Sometimes that means saying a hyped product is overrated. Sometimes it means getting excited about something small nobody's covering yet.

A bit more about me

By day, I work as a front-end / UI developer, which means I spend a lot of time thinking about how technology actually feels to use — not just what it claims to do on paper. That perspective shapes how I write here: I care about the real-world experience of a tool, an app, or a piece of tech, not just its feature list.

Let's stay in touch

If something I write helps you, made you think differently, or you just want to tell me I got something wrong — I want to hear it. Drop a comment on any post, or reach out directly. This blog grows because of readers like you sticking around, not just clicking through once.

Thanks for stopping by.
